| Plumbing 101 Administration & General Regulations - |
Provides a comprehensive coverage of the administration part of the Code, clarifying when a permit is required, Building Department requirements and its inspections, what is required of the inspector and requirements of the contractor. General Regulations will cover the design and installation of plumbing not covered in other chapters of the Code, prohibited locations of plumbing, identification of materials, trenching and backfill, inspections, welding and brazing requirements. This training course focuses on the requirements for potable water, water service, and water distribution system, materials, joints, hot water supply system, and backflow requirements. Basic understanding of electricity, volts, ocups and ohms. Function and application of thermocouple in a safety circuit. ECM in series with safety valve. Theory and application of power pile generators. Simple and Series application. Understanding of flame rod vilification with an electronic temperature controller. This course will familiarize technicians with the basics of servicing hot water heating systems.
